About this activity
The Palmeraie of Marrakech, twenty minutes from the medina, is the most accessible setting for a first encounter with the camel. The cameleer helps you climb on, adjusts the stirrups and leads the caravan at a walking pace along dirt paths, between palm trees and gardens.
After an hour's ride, a break with mint tea and Moroccan pancakes in a Palmeraie house rounds off the outing. We recommend the late-afternoon slot, for the golden light and the cooler air.
