About this activity
The hammam is Morocco's oldest wellness ritual. You enter a hot, humid room, your body is coated with olive black soap, then scrubbed with a kessa glove until your skin feels brand new. A rinse with rose water comes before a relaxing argan oil massage.
We work with spas in the medina and Hivernage that take guests by appointment, to avoid crowded public baths. The driver drops you at the entrance and waits for you: after the treatment, the last thing you want is to look for a taxi.
Step by step
Pickup at your accommodation
Your driver takes you to the spa in time for your booked slot.
Hammam and black soap
Twenty minutes of humid heat to open the pores, then the black soap is applied.
Scrub and rinse
Full-body scrub with a kessa glove, ghassoul mask, rose water rinse.
Massage and tea
30-minute relaxing massage, then mint tea in the relaxation lounge.
Return
The driver takes you back to your accommodation.
